Ensuring safety
At present, side effects of the current COVID-19 vaccines administered throughout the world have been screened thoroughly through clinical trials conducted in Japan and also overseas. Based on the results of these clinical trials, the national government has reviewed and approved the efficiency, safety, and quality of the vaccines.
The national government will continue to compile cases with suspected side effects of the vaccine, which will be then reviewed by experts before information regarding its safety will be released to the public.
The Iwate Prefectural Government has set up Mass Vaccination Centers to speed up the vaccination process for Iwate residents.
