Proposal from Iwate Prefecture about Disaster Risk Reduction and Reconstruction
As one of the prefectures affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, Iwate hopes to contribute to improvement in global disaster risk reduction, and so has prepared the following "Proposals from Iwate Prefecture about Disaster Risk Reduction and Reconstruction".
In order to transmit these proposals to the rest of the world, they will be presented at the 3rd UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, which will be held in Sendai in March 2015, and related events.
